While our community faces an unprecedented time with COVID-19, the impact of the opioid and substance use epidemic has been overshadowed, however it has not gone away. Many believe the impact of COVID-19 will only worsen the opioid epidemic and highlight the ongoing need to collectively respond and address this crisis. Our work must continue, as we fight to protect lives impacted by substance use and their families, and create a healthier community supportive of recovery.
